On top of all the other hassles the modern businessperson encounters while traveling for their company, hunting for a fax machine to transmit or receive important documents shouldn’t be one of them. In today’s business environment, business travelers no longer have the option of wasting time locating fax machines and printers when a document must be immediately sent off to a client or business partner. In this age of instant gratification, time is of the essence, and business travelers must be able to send documents whenever and wherever they are. Begin: the revolution of the Internet fax.Now business travelers can send an Internet fax quickly and easily from any computer with Internet access. A simple log in, upload, and fax number is all that is needed to transmit an Internet fax. It’s that simple. Not only is the document immediately sent with the internet fax to the destination, it’s stored on a computer or archived online for instant access whenever it’s needed in the future. The ability to archive and retrieve internet faxes is critical to traveling business people, as this functionality allows for an unparalleled aspect of accessibility. The Internet fax offers the freedom to concentrate on the most important aspects of business-building relationships, increasing sales, improving quality, and increasing production. All too often, fax machines sending and receiving documents are unreliable or in need of a repair. Faxes don’t come through at all, or when they do, there are huge black lines running through the text. Sometimes the text is so light that it’s impossible to read. Many business travelers spend precious time placing multiple calls and waiting by fax machines in an attempt to retrieve a readable, usable document. Receiving Internet faxes takes the frustration out of being in a remote location when critical documentation is needed for a business meeting or client conference. The importance of producing exactly what your clients, business partners, customers, and employees need in a timely manner cannot be underestimated. Competition is fierce in today’s business world, and a company’s credibility can be irreparably damaged when documents are missing, late or illegible. When a company cannot produce an estimate, a report, a proposal, or any other important printed document, clients and prospects can’t help but wonder how efficiently and effectively other aspects of the business are run. Too many competitors are available today to allow faxing issues to impact business relationships. Instant access to whatever kind of documentation is needed to maintain client relationships or bring a prospect on board is more important than ever. The Internet fax handles incoming faxes as well as outgoing faxes. Business travelers have the option of having faxes sent to their computers via email for instant access, or the internet faxes can be picked up online or even forwarded to a landline fax when Internet access is not available. This kind of flexibility makes it easy for business travelers to use the method that works best for them. Most businesses are struggling with how to streamline processes and procedures to make their companies more efficient. The more efficient operations become, the more productive the company is. Eliminating the amount of down time and money spent using out-dated technology can instantly add to a company’s bottom line.Waiting at fax machines to ensure that all the pages go through or re-faxing documents that were not received wastes an incredible amount of the modern businessperson’s time. And that time costs money. Businesses can immediately see an increase in profitability when they leverage the functionality of the Internet fax to help achieve targets and goals as efficiently as possible.Another aspect of modern business is how to go green. Many companies are investigating in alternative methods for generating power, reducing the supplies used in the production of their products or services, and decreasing their business expenses. With traditional faxing methods, expenses include equipment, toner, paper, and repair. There’s also the cost of transmitting the faxes through traditional telecommunication methods. With the Internet fax, the electronic transmission and reception of documents can help a company go paperless. No equipment, no repairs, no toner, no paper. And, of course, less time wasted means more productivity-not only for the business traveler, but for everyone in the organization.Companies looking to decrease the amount of time and stress involved in getting important documents where they need to be, when they need to be there now have an effective tool to increase productivity and profitability–the Internet fax. Not only does it make a company more efficient and effective, it allows for business people to travel with ease without always having to scramble for a fax machine.
Who else wants to save on travel today? I realize that may sound like a silly question and the fact is, economic times are rough right now. Most people (including myself…) are looking to save big money on their travel prices. If you want to save a lot of money on your travel expenses, the solution to doing just that is actually a lot easier than you think. If you want to go to a nice luxurious hotel, resort, or cruise, the reality is you really can and at affordable prices that everyone can afford…let me explain…The answer to saving on your travel has nothing to do with travel sites that have been known to save you up to 30%. I am talking about are travel memberships wherein you pay a one-time fee and gain immediate lifetime access. You can literally begin saving up to 80% off your travel needs for the rest of your life. No restrictions of when you travel, either! I am speaking highly of something known as a travel discount club that many are now discovering for the first time.If you have never heard of a travel membership, basically what this mean to you is this…..it eliminates the high prices when it comes to travel prices. Have you ever gone to a hotel thinking that you paid way too much? Me too! These overpriced prices have gone on for far too long in my opinion. So in essence what these memberships do for you, is save you a log of money. When you are a paid member, you then have access to over thousands of highly sought after travel locations from around the world. This will save you up to 80% off of your travel expenses around the world. For many, this is a dream come true because of the fact that you will have the ability to stay at some of the very best resorts from all over the world. This is not a timeshare, mind you. These memberships do not require you to pay any additional fees, at least the ones that I have checked out. No maintenance fees or annual fees is a huge plus to many, who have been burned by timeshares. That is something that no timeshare can even come close to when comparing the two. If you compare the amount of money that you would have to pay on a retail vacation, a membership blows the retail price right out of the water. You will easily save over 50% or more.Do your own research and see for yourself. Having a membership to for access to thousands of luxury hotel locations at rock-bottom wholesale prices is what makes this an easy decision for many. When you compare the savings to the retail price that you would have to pay, it just makes good sense..Take for example the fact that you can get:a 2-bedroom condo at multiple worldwide locations for less than $200 for a seven-day vacation stay. The only question is why would would you want to spend several hundred more than what you need to? The retail price for this vacation retailed for $998 on a site that offered the exact same amenities. When I first learned of these savings, I jumped on the opportunity because I hate having to spend more money than I really have to. When you join, you will gain immediate private access and be a part of the vacation club that allows you to profit from these vacation deals. When I first took a look at it, I could not believe the savings. In fact, I thought there had to be a catch….I was pleasantly surprised when I realized there was no catch on having access to unbelievable discounts on these luxurious vacations. It was a dream come true for me.Another big advantage is that you will also have access to travel advisors. These are advisors who will assist you with various travel needs on other travel related expenses. When you are getting ready to go on a trip, the less that you have to worry about is priceless. These memberships are the answer to saving money when it comes to traveling throughout the entire United States, but all across the globe. While memberships are not free, you could easily make your money back on one vacation alone. So basically, you get your money back after your first vacation. Keep in mind that there are pretty high priced memberships compared to other clubs. If you want to save some serious cash, consider a membership because it will certainly save you more than just a few bucks when you consider the fact that you can save several hundreds of dollars on your first trip. I cannot say enough about these memberships. They really are the way to travel when it comes to saving money at worldwide luxurious hotels, resorts and cruises. No matter if you are casual traveler or a business traveler, saving up to 80% on travel related expenses is the perfect solution for literally anyone who travels I do not know about you but most everyone I talk to travels at least once in a while. The reason is that having one of these memberships pays you back every time you access your membership privileges. It allow you to take immediate advantage of for the unlimited savings.
Long gone are the days when an airline passenger is able to go straight to the gate and catch their flight. As you all know, the way we think about travel has been profoundly changed by the events of Sept. 11 and their aftermath. These shifts have had a practical and psychological impact on all of us. Most of these changes have taken place in the airline industry although other parts of the travel industry and the nation as a whole have been forced to adjust also. Immediately after Sept. 11, as you know, travel was drastically reduced virtually across the planet. In the past year, it has been steadily picking up. However, in most cases, it has not reached pre-September 11 levels. Domestic travel In the United States has recovered much more quickly than international travel. In fact, domestic travel has been very strong this summer, with some destinations such as the national parks are reporting record breaking numbers of visitors. International travel has been picking up too, but more slowly. Recently, more people are beginning to plan international trips again. How has Sept. 11 affected the traveler? Well, many of you are no doubt familiar with the practical changes that have come about after 9-11. These have especially impacted air travelers. Airport security is much tighter. Access is much more rigorously restricted. Long lines are visible inside terminals and sometimes along the sidewalks outside the airport buildings. In short, you have to wait longer and in more lines than you used to. As a result, whether you are flying domestically or internationally, it is necessary to arrive at airports earlier than before, and make sure that all your documents are in order. One of the more drastic changes is that all security screeners at United States airports have been professionally trained. Passenger’s carry on items are passed through an X-ray machine where they are checked for what in today’s terms are considered dangerous items such as knives, corkscrews, etc. Until just recently, scissors were considered a threatening item. They are now allowed in carry-on bags as long as they are no more than 4″ at blade length. Screeners are now more frequently performing random searches of baggage and performing passenger pat downs. 100% of all checked baggage is checked for explosives and other dangerous items. Now all passengers are required to go to the ticket counter before check in. Passengers must have some form of government issued ID such as a state drivers’ license or passport. If you do not have ID, you are not getting on an airplane. Most airports allow only ticketed passengers to go to the departing gate, and you now have to walk quite a stretch before your loved ones can greet you upon arrival.Even the airplanes themselves are more secure. After 9/11, when the Department of Homeland Security was put into place, they were given the task of performing vulnerability assessments on over 75 of the United States’ major airports and actual airline security systems. As a result, every US larger passenger aircraft has now been equipped with hardened cockpit doors. Thousands of federal air marshals were assigned to flights in order to help ensure the safety of passengers, and to guard against terrorist acts. We have just recently witnessed an unfortunate event where a person on an aircraft claiming to have a bomb was shot by an air marshal. Make no mistake about it; these security measures are very serious.Psychologically, the changes have been profound. Americans are skittish travelers, and they tend to somewhat indiscriminately lump together vast portions of the world. After Sept. 11, they have tended to avoid travel to any country in the Middle East and much of Asia, as well as India and Pakistan. For the traveler, one of the results of travel in a post-9/11 world is that you need to be better informed about your destination. It is a good idea to read up on the places you are planning to visit, to understand their history, laws, cultures, customs and current conditions. The more you know about your destination, the better prepared you will be to anticipate problems that could have been avoided.Changes within the travel insurance industry as well have taken place as a result of the September 11th terrorist attacks. Currently some travel insurance companies provide coverage for terrorist attacks committed in the United States of America such as CSA Travel Protection (http://www.csatravelprotection.com). Prior to 9/11, travel insurance only covered terrorist attacks committed overseas. Along with the travel insurance industry the methods Americans use to plan their trips have changed because of 9/11. More than 60% of US vacationers are now using the Internet to plan their vacations either alone or with assistance of a professional travel agent. Americans had already known about travel information and travel business on the Internet prior to September 11th, but many more began to utilize it after the attacks. A lot of online travel deals became available from airline companies and hotels desperate to regain business directly after 9/11. It soon became widely known that great travel deals were available online. Many comprehensive or all-inclusive packages have become popular due to value-added offers that have enticed many Americans to re-evaluate and re-adjust their take on travel. With the proper planning and contextual awareness, traveling can be enjoyable againAlthough the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 are in no way seen as something positive, these same horrific events have lead to many improvements to the safety and security of travel within the United States. Some of these new security practices may seem like an inconvenience but they have been set up to ensure the safety and continuity of American and friendly foreign travelers traumatized by the events of September 11th.
